Children: None currently, maybe someday in the future. We were lucky enough to be “parents” to the world’s sweetest Arabian mare but she passed away 2 years ago. Someday we hope to have another horse (A Gypsy Vanner!) and we also daydream about having dogs (whippets, pomeranians, maybe a french bulldog) when we have more room for them.
Location: Currently Orange County California near the Pacific Ocean.
Favorite Authors: So many! I love all kinds of books but particularly classic novels, children’s authors, biographies, fantasy, regency, historical, chick lit …. Pretty much everything except horror & mystery. I especially love Jane Austen, Maeve Binchy, L.M. Montgomery, Phillipa Gregory, William Wordsworth, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau
Favorite Movies: Enchanted April, Notting Hill, Muriel’s Wedding, A walk in the clouds,  Cat on a hot tin roof, Persuasion, Pollyanna, Little Women, It Started in Naples, Gone with the wind, The Philadelphia Story, soooo many more!!!
Loves: My husband and family, books & bookstores, traveling, photography, beach rocks, the ocean, learning new things, journaling, mini snow globes, watching figure skating, Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov, exploring interesting mountain & sea side towns, Victoria Magazine, antique shops, crazy quilts, Art Deco, Victoriana,  hollie hobbie,  horses (especially gypsy, fresian, shire, and arabian), creating something beautiful, orange & lemon groves, cherry blossoms, stargazer lillies, violets, music from the 40’s & 50’s, dresses, girly sweaters in pastel colors, everything at anthropologie, anything celtic…….

To borrow a quote from one of my favorite books, Anne of Green Gables, ” If you’d let me tell you what I imagine about myself you’d find it alot more interesting.”:)

I’m a bit of a daydreamer so my inner world is usually alot more exciting than my reality. Not that my reality is such a bad place to be! I’m a 35 year old student & stay at home wife married to an amazingly wonderful man (John Zarbock ) whom I love more than life itself. You may hear about him occasionally in my gallery/blog or see some of his photographs. He’s the person who really got me interested in photography and is a very good photographer himself. I’m always learning something from him!

I live in gorgeous Orange County California, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Originally I’m from a small town in Missouri, just outside of St. Louis called Cedar Hill. My family still lives there and I miss them alot, but I’m adjusting well to life on the west coast. You certainly can’t beat the weather here and there is always something exciting to do or see. With all this gorgeous scenery it’s really no wonder I’ve been inspired to improve my photography.

I’m a hopeless romantic and a passionate lover of beauty, which is what draws me to photography and graphic design. I’d like to capture, forever, some of the beauty I see all around me. We really do live in a wonderful world. Even though I’m still just a beginner at photography and graphic design I’ve opened my own online shops to feature my work. Having a shop keeps me motivated to work at my designs and constantly improve upon them. I’m thrilled to say that I’ve been lucky enough to sell my photographs and designs to people in 34 states and four foreign countries. I love knowing that other people can get enjoyment from something I’ve made and that they,too, see the beauty I’ve tried to record.

I know that I have a lot to learn about photography & design and I’m committed to improving my art. My gallery & blog will be a good way to track that improvement and a way for people to get to know me a bit better and see what I’m working on at the moment. I hope to get to know all of you much better as time goes on. Please feel free to introduce yourself or just leave comments here or in my gallery! I love getting feedback.
